The final portion of this study deals with three types of cards (Christmas Cards, Mother’s Day Cards and Valentines Cards) which circulated during the same time period as did view cards. As in the later these cards show “FRANQUEO PAGADO / PORTE PAYE” in two lines on the back top and to the right a boxed stamp with a circled “Dirección General / De Correos / Paraguay” in three lines. At bottom there is a serial either B or C and a number. At bottom left it may show “PRINTED IN SPAIN” on a few occasions.

Christmas Cards

Of 35 cards examined there were 22 different types.

Two were from Series C and 33 from Series B. Seven indicated “PRINTED in Spain”. Used cards ranged from 1997-2002. Postage was the same for air mail or registered mail.

Mother’s Day Cards

Of 30 cards examined there were 13 different types.

All were from Series B and only three indicated “PRINTED IN SPAIN”. Used cards ranged from 1995 to 1999. Postage was the same for air mail or registered mail.

Valentines Cards

Of 24 cards examined there were nine different types.

All were from Series B and only one type indicated “PRINTED in SPAIN”. Used copies ranged from 1995-1999. Postage was the same for air mail or registered mail.
